Since 2016, I have designed regenerative tourism initiatives grounded in what communities express, even when it is not explicitly stated. I believe listening to local realities is the only way to build meaningful impact.
Through my lens, I highlight Colombia’s natural heritage and its connection to cultural diversity. We protect what we understand and today, that must be our priority.
Adopt a mangrove in Bahía Málaga
This project is currently sustained through the sale of postcards. A first step in connecting art with ecological restoration.
Since 2016, I have been planting mangroves in Bahía Málaga alongside Econatal. The goal is to continue ecological restoration while generating more stable income opportunities for local communities.
Many families depend almost entirely on whale-watching season to sustain themselves throughout the year. This initiative offers an alternative, one that protects the ecosystem while strengthening community well-being beyond tourism season.
The more people who join, the stronger our collective ability to protect one of the most intact ecosystems on the planet.
